With Angel and Dan both out for the day, we decided to do a Rhino field trip and soak in some of the sights and sounds of the Black Owl cafe for our work day.

The Farm to Fork BLT - Jan28

This was the best sandwich I've ever tasted.
Spire "Farm to Fork" in LaPorte IN has a special place in my stomach's heart.

It was started by a friend of mine who in less then 26 years of being earth:
- started a successful catering company
- finished his undergrad in culinary from Robert Morris University in Chicago
- then finished his MBA there
- then began teaching there
- all while maintaining other chef positions.
- then transformed his catering company into a full time restaurant in a golf course.

Like I said, my Mother is nostalgic.
She's been a postal service mail carrier for almost 30 years, as was my grandfather.

This is a scale. a very old scale.

I did not weigh myself on it.

This is very old lantern and an equally aged photo of my grandmother when she was a young woman.
My mom is VERY nostalgic about her family history and for that, I'm very thankful.
